Dardanelle & Russellville No. 8.  No. 8 was built by Cooke Locomotive & Machine Co. in 1888 for the Denver, Texas & Forth Worth Railroad and sold in 1907 to the D&R RR.  It saw movie service during the 1930s, including for the film Jesse James.  It was briefly employed on the reconstructed Virginia & Truckee Railroad in 1976 as its No. 28 and was later used to help celebrate the grand opening of the California State Railroad Museum.  It was acquired by the Nevada State Railroad Museum for service in its steam excursion service.
